WordPress Updates
Did you know WordPress releases nearly a dozen updates per year and most popular themes and plugins have at least four? Did you know keeping your WordPress version and plugins up to date is one of the easiest ways to be sure it has a long life free of hacking and bugs?
Just like your vehicle needs regular maintenance, WordPress websites also need regular updates to perform at their best. The developers at WordPress are constantly updating the software and plugins with new features and security fixes, so the best way to keep your WordPress installation clean, safe and secure is to make regular updates to the software.
Backups
Keeping a good backup of your website can save you LOTS of headaches. Did a plugin update go bad? Did malware find its way into your website? Did your 6 year old accidentally delete 7 pages while playing with your iPad? Just revert to a backup and you're good to go.
Plugin Renewals
I have a few of my favorite premium/paid plugins that I use to build nearly every website. Those plugins are fabulous, but many have annual license renewal fees. One of the benefits of working with me is that my care packages include the renewal licenses for the following plugins: Beaver Builder theme and plugin, Gravity Forms, The Events Calendar Pro, and ADA Accessibility. (Included renewals depend on the maintenance plan level.)
